| White Cat Cafe / Personal Short Film. Ongoing (currently on hold) |
|
This is a short film I've been working on in my free time over the past few years. It
started as an opportunity to improve my creative and technical skills, and as an outlet
for ideas. I was very inspired by some Japanese short films and wanted to try to reach
that high level of quality and interesting feel on my own. This film is entirely my work,
from initial story layout and design through all levels of 2D/3D and into the final
composite.
Currently I have around 3 minutes of the film complete, and the rest is in varying stages
of production. It is on hold until I can find some more time to complete it.

This is a 3 minute short made for Nickelodeon. Working at Kapow Pictures, I created all
the 3D visuals for the show, and then composited everything together with some 2D
elements. This is part of a collective of shorts for Nickelodeon, with 3 others also
being simultaneously made at Kapow Pictures.

A feature film being directed by Joseph Wong which required around 1 minute of 2D/3D
effects. This included an Alien, who appears and wraps his tentacles around 2 of the
actors and then returns to his spaceship. I created all the 2D/3D effects visuals and
composited them together. Final grade not yet complete.

This is a commercial for a Sony Cybershot camera. It shows a man sitting on a couch
divided into 2 halves. My role was to create the black surface where his body is cut,
track it to the actor's movements and shade/render. Unfortunately I don't have the final
composite available, shown here is my work in progress composite.
